Motivation alone cannot replace years of experience.

I have been in the business of marketing Real Estate for the past 30 years. In that time, I have helped many home owners sell their property. Also, I have helped many families find their dream homes. My company has always given personal service, taking calls seven days a week; evenings, holidays, and weekends. Our staff of nine agents are available to take calls because we believe in giving the best service to our clients and customers. That means when you are ready to buy or sell you have an agent ready, willing, and able to discuss your needs with you.

My company and I have sold many residential homes, farms, commercial and business properties as well. Please call anytime to discuss your real estate needs.

Historic buildings tell the history and the unique qualities of a community. They tell us where we come from and where we are going. I understand.

A 110 year-old church founded by my great-great grandfather inspired me to begin studying historic preservation, and before long, I found myself not only consumed by ensuring the preservation of the church, but also preparing National Register Nominations for numerous local historic landmarks, serving on architectural design review committees for local municipalities, and researching and preparing contexts for architectural and historical resources throughout north central West Virginia. I parlayed my passion for these properties into a professional pursuit, working as an architectural historian. Needless to say, I had discovered my passion. Living and working with these properties is like having a link to the past every day. It's fascinating to me to soak it all in--the stunning architecture, the high quality of work that stands the test of time. Everything about these properties is just so distinctive.

My professional pursuits have further evolved into the realm of real estate. As a full service real estate agent and historic/vintage property specialist, I take great pride in helping my clients purchase or sell these cherished links to the past. From tiny cottages to larger homes and even commercial properties, I am prepared to handle the wide array of historic properties throughout the area. Through my connection with various committees, I possess a strong network of valued resources throughout north central West Virginia that I share with my clients. Additionally, I understand the specialized, target marketing techniques that are more likely to convert a casual historic property buyer into a true prospect who is motivated by an emotional link to the provenance, architectural details, and history of the property.

If you're considering the sale or purchase of a historic home or property throughout north central West Virginia, be sure you choose a real estate professional as distinctive as the property itself. I look forward to helping you make history in West Virginia real estate.

I grew up in Fairmont. My husband John and I relocated several times for our jobs, before returning home to raise our son and daughter. Through our experiences I know what it's like to move to a new town and start to "put down roots." Often times, part of the relocation process involves buying or selling a home, or both. It can be an exciting, yet stressful time. I would enjoy making the transition easier for you.

Most of us dream of owning our own home. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions many of us ever make. I would like the opportunity to help you make your dream a reality. Just give me a call, I will be happy to assist you in any way I can.

Whether You're Buying or Selling, Remember to Pick a Posey...
Dott Posey!

My belief is that buying and selling real estate should be a win win for everyone involved. And whether you are buying or selling, I want that experience to be positive for you.

I have just recently moved to West Virginia. My husband's career has taken us to various places, such as Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. We are originally from Western Kentucky, and not only do we feel that we are in "Almost Heaven" but we are "Almost Home". As I have moved several times, I can relate to the excitement, anxiety, and all the emotions related to the moving experience. I have felt most of the feelings that you are probably experiencing, and I would like to help you through the process of buying or selling your home so you are able to focus on matters that need your immediate attention.

Feel free to call anytime, day or night, I am just a phone call away.
